Job Description
- Ensure a high level of uptime for equipment and machines to support production.
- Monitor and take corrective actions for equipment downtime.
- Procure spares for critical and important equipment/machines.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply for operations by monitoring power distribution and restoring it within 10 minutes in case of power failure.
- Attend to day-to-day electrical breakdowns for CNC/conventional machines and electrical equipment.
- Regularly record and evaluate HT/LT energy meter readings on a daily and monthly basis.
- Maintain utilities such as HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, air compressors, water systems, smoke detection systems, fire alarms, and fire hydrant systems.
- Operate pumps, DG sets, HVAC systems, and compressors whenever required.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, services, and miscellaneous jobs, submit and close requisitions in FTM and SAP.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment such as UPS, HT/LT breakers, HT transformers, VCBs, APFC, harmonic filter panels, DG sets, and machine tools.
- Regularly monitor, follow up, and maintain UPS systems (VERTIV & TEMEC).
- Interact and follow up with external vendors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), other services, and spare parts.
- Write daily reports in the maintenance logbook.
- Provide guidance to workers whenever it is required.
