Job Description

Job Overview:

As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design efforts and ensuring consistent and impactful visual communication across various channels within our audio OTT startup. You will play a crucial role in shaping the brand identity and creating visually compelling designs that enhance user engagement and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall design strategy to align with our brand vision and values.
• Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Content, to understand their design needs and create visually cohesive materials.
• Create and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in design elements, typography, color palette, and visual identity across all communications.
• Design and produce engaging visual assets for various channels, including social media, websites, emails, app interfaces, marketing campaigns, and offline materials.
• Building strong, effective operations to deliver large monthly requirements of performance marketing, brand marketing, and social media assets across 7 languages.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design techniques, and tools to continuously enhance the design capabilities and effectiveness of the company\\\’s communications.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions, incorporating user-centered design principles into the design process.
• Manage design projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality, attention to detail, and consistency throughout all design work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5-6 years), preferably in the digital media or OTT industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in graphic design, digital design, and visual communication.
• Proficient in design software/tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Latest updated knowledge on how to use Generative Design AI like Midjourney, Adobe, etc in terms of prompts and optimized outputs.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a design team to achieve outstanding results.
