Job Description
Drive efficient and effective deployment of global PPM process and CORA platform to improve Honeywell business results. You will provide inputs to IT strategy and be the key liaison between business and IT leadership teams to validate customer requirements and solution for deployment of CORA business and Global design model rollouts.
You will drive solution discussion, and partner with business leaders, Honeywell Learning and Honeywell User Experience teams to ensure effective training is provided to facilitate rapid adoption applications.
Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for Honeywell New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Global Design Model (GDM) definition and implementation of the same in a industry leading Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.Will be part of a team representing Honeywell Global Project Management Office process, and will act as custodian of the GPMO process definedDrive and own Enterprise Global Project Management Office (GPMO)/Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) implementation solution for PPM using planview platformDrive business requirements for PPM â“ CORA GDM/roll out implementationsWork with all business groups and finalize the common process model and convergence solution for PPM solution rolloutRecommend test strategy, drive validations, and sign off for GDM implementationHelp Honeywell business groups to analyze the PPM solution and Provide inputs to build business caseWork with suppliers and other stake holders to Drive rapid issue resolutionKeep GDM Process documentation and specification updatedResponsible for Enterprise GPMO/GDM solution, business requirement translation to implementable use cases as per SBG GPMO processes, presented as “customer facing” story pointsResponsible for maturing the Engineering business requirements, driving first pass yield (99%) on quality and driving down reworkLead functional documentation design and development (use cases, functional specifications, reports, screen prototypes)Visualize outputs of the system and ensure its defined and developed as per stakeholder expectations and VOCEscalate gaps and issues proactively in system definition, output definition and quality requirementsParticipates in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements and Plan View featuresDrive harmonization of GPMO ownership within SBGs, providing guidelines and identifying best practices to SBG stakeholders.Work with SBG IT and business focal to create approved baselines of processes prior to initiating configurations in the PlanViewAct as a primary SME liaison between business users, IT project team and PlanView on the GPMO process.Elicit non-functional requirements including performance and security at early stages, ensuring a robust system is planned and built.Facilitate functional requirements walkthroughs and respond to Test and other functional teams’ questions from implementation and validation perspectivesWork closely with Project Manager, Architects, Developers, Test team, business users/stake holders and applicable outside entities ensuring the program is successfulDrive configuration discussions against customization, ensure off the shelf features are used to the fullest extent.Contribute to development of user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate.Participate in change management activities. Enable the Change Manager decisions with logical reasoning, data and facts supporting the change.Ensure stakeholders sign-off on requirements during stage gate processes.Carry out acceptance test prior to acceptance delivery to stakeholders and finally customersVerify business value of the solution, carry out corrective and improvement actions working with leadership and key stakeholders

Candidate with MBA/Engineering and have large scale IT implementation skills10+ years of overall experience in software product development, 5 years in business analysis / process digitization 4-5 years of Knowledge in implementation of PPM platform / PlanView or equivalent PPM solutions (SAP PPM, HP PPM, Accolade, Planisware, etc.)Knowledgeable in PMO process / certified project management professional
