Job Description
- Participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components.
- Strong experience with Circuit Design, Schematic Capture, Board Layout guidelines & Circuit Simulation
- Strong experience with digital hardware design and with Xilinx FPGA, Printed Circuit boards, Xilinx Aurora, FPGA, VME Bus, PCI Bus, DDR3, JTAG, Memories, QSFP+.
- Experience with Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, electronics manufacturing)
- Experience with component reliability analysis and MTBF Calculations
- Good understanding of Hardware interfaces High speed serial SERDES interfaces, Clocking scheme, I2C,SPI,UART, RS485,RS422, LVDS interfaces.
- Knowledge and design practices in power supply design- DC/DC converter, LDO, (BUCK,BOOST) Converters
- Deep understanding of analog circuit design using Op-amp, MOSFET, Transistor ,Diode ,power switches, Stepper motor drivers, LED drivers.
- Understanding and impact on signal integrity and power integrity on high speed interfacesGood knowledge on PCB de-rating analysis.
- Experience with lab equipment including but not limited to DMM, High Speed Signal Analysis tools, logic analyzer interfaces, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment
- 4+ years of Hands on experience with OrCad, OrCad CIS, for schematic capture
- Good to have: Allegro physical viewer, Gerber Tools
- Good to have: Signal integrity analysis analysis tools: Ansys SIwave
- To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
- TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions review.
- To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
