Job Description

As a Citrix Technology Architect, you will be responsible for collaborating in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud-based Citrix infrastructure for our organization. You will closely work with infrastructure, support, and stakeholders to ensure that the infrastructure environment is running on the latest Citrix versions and adheres to industry standards, providing seamless user experience for clients utilizing our cloud-hosted solution. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud-based infrastructure, developing and maintaining documentation, monitoring Citrix and VMware infrastructure, modernizing the current Citrix infrastructure, collaborating with development teams on integrating security requirements, coordinating with vendors for support, assisting with incident resolution, providing guidance on technology roadmap, managing patching activities, and identifying ways to improve stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure using best architecture and industry practices.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and guidelines for cloud environments.
Monitor Citrix and VMware infrastructure to ensure uptime and adherence to SLAs.
Modernize the current Citrix infrastructure to the latest version and architecture.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security requirements into the software development lifecycle.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain required support.
Assist in resolving escalated incidents and participate in issue resolution and mitigation activities.
Provide guidance and contribute to the technology roadmap for the environment.
Manage Citrix and infrastructure-related patching as needed.
Provide input on improving stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Apply working knowledge of patch management and change control practices to keep the environment up to date.
