Job Description
In this role you will grow your knowledge and skills while supporting the business. You will learn new technologies and create standard work which will help our business and train colleagues.
WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:
Manage all MSSQL Servers different version and Databases Administration
Daily alert and ticket monitoring and resolving
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Handling High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
Perform database tuning and performance management.
Installation, Upgradation and Patching of SQL servers
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO IS:
Must have a minimum of 5 experience in configuration, manage and maintain database servers, along with MSSQL basic query and scripting.
Configure and manage database maintenance including jobs like backups, restore, indexing, update statistics.
Handle database permissions for User setup and configuration.
Experienced in monitoring system health like diskspace, CPU, memory, long running queries, blocking, Log shipping, replication, Always-On High availability etc.
Perform configurations like Log shipping, replication and Always-On High availability
Understands how integration and reporting services work within DB.
Independently analyze, solve and provide problem resolution
Proficient written and verbal communication along with Documentation skills
