Technical Skills
- 5-6 years of software development and/or DevOps experience
- Experience with at least one strongly-typed compiled language (preferably Java)

- Experience with at least one dependency management tool such as Maven, NPM, PyPi
- Experience with Git using various workflows (forking, gitflow, etc.)

- Basic understanding of release process and concepts and tools such as (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI, IRT, ESC and PRRQ)
- Experience with developing and operating software in containers
- Fluency in Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash
- Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure service (AWS, Azure, GCE, Openstack, etc)
- Experience with at least one configuration management tool (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc)
- Understanding of Java, Angular, React JS technologies
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- Can identify basic scalability pitfalls
- Deep knowledge of the custom in-house tools Cisco uses to release software (IRT) and the overall workflow that integrates all of these tools
- Ability gathers requirements for enhancement requests and communicate the requests with the Dev team for design and build
- Frontline customer support experience for release services
- Respond to a very broad range of service issues and support tickets Experience working with REST APIs, Oracle DBs (direct edits via SQL, generating reports, schema changes), application logs, and integrations between applications and microservices
