Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Doctor to join our team of professionals dedicated to the humane sterilisation of stray dogs in the Pune and PCMC areas. As a Veterinary Doctor at CCC, you will be responsible for performing spay and neuter surgeries on stray dogs/cats brought to our centres while adhering strictly to our established protocols and ensuring the highest standard of care. Your role will also include post-operative patient monitoring and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:Perform spay and neuter surgeries on stray dogs, with an average caseload of 10-12 procedures per day.Adhere strictly to CCC Animal Birth Control protocols, ensuring no deviations.Monitor patients’ post-operative recovery, tracking infection rates and identifying and addressing any complications.Submit daily reports and monthly compliance reports promptly and accurately.
Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Surgery & Veterinary Sciences from an accredited institution.Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences from an accredited institution.Current veterinary license in India.
Desired Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with veterinary and support staff, centre management team, and other stakeholders.Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle a high caseload.Knowledge of medical and surgical techniques for small animals, including experience with diagnostic and laboratory equipment.Willingness to travel between different CCC centres as needed.
Experience:The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of hands-on experience in small animal sterilisations. Fresh veterinary graduates are kindly requested not to apply.
