Position Purpose
CEP IT – TM – Recon ADM team needs to hire resources to work on the projects approved by user to ensure the projects are completed on time without any impacts to user.
This is a ETL developer position who can contribute to design, development, deployment and maintenance of solution, MS-SQL database, data preparation, data integration and data warehousing solutions. To take initiatives in development and enhancement of various projects. Provides technical expertise on related projects/JIRAs and delivery requests. Employs industry standard best practices for integration and interface patterns.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Propose and develop solutions using ETL tools and visualization tools, SQL/Oracle Servers/Databases for acquisition, storage and processing needs. Primarily responsible for designing and developing ETL workflows for reconciliation team. Optimization of performance of Tableau/Alteryx reports being deployed in a global environment. Analyze data and systems to identify data sourcing, structuring, modeling and transformation requirements. Develop prototypes using multiple sourcing, transformation, and storage tools. Present and explain functionalities, alternatives of different tools and applicability to specific situations and processes. Decode and document applications developed by the team or transferred to the team. Interface with users to understand requirements in a dynamic environment in an agile fashion. Support maintenance, troubleshooting and management application. Manage enhancement and update schedules for the application. Build automated reports and dashboards. Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. Establish row-level security on data and comprehend reporting application security layer models. Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server, BI stack including SSRS, Power query & POWER BI Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions. Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design and more. Involved in creating technical documentation in the work assignments. Study user requirement, develop specifications, design, program coding, test and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements IN ORDER TO meet user (business) requirements. Work on development/ maintenance tasks using technology used in projects Liaises with Infrastructure teams to ensure proper system configurations and hardware performance efficiencies. Involved with the review and submission of all solution designs provided by Vendor or in-house development team. Establishes regular code reviews tied to on-going components / projects development.Develop stored procedures to build reports for the end users using SQL 2016 Code optimization and should be able to mentor new team members. Flexible to learn, understand reconciliation concept and database structure of reconciliation tool Flexible to contribute to reconciliation development activities using IntelliMatch tool as required. Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and Jira. Involvement across all stages of Software Development life cycle (SDLC) including business requirement analysis, data mapping, validate data against requirement, build, unit testing, peer reviews, systems integration, and user acceptance testing. Analyze & develop Test Strategies, design Test Plans, & generate and execute Test Cases. Should be able to perform enhancements, whereby need to analyze existing set-up and understand the requirement by performing proper impact analysis, provide estimate and deliver quality code. Should have good understanding of DevSecOps platform and relevant Tools/applications to do customized automations at various stages of software lifecycle and for Process automation with Intellimatch set-up. Independent player – Should be able to liaise with different team to re-solve/get dependencies on time. Should be able to foresee issue/risk and intimate the same to team lead / project manager. Should be able to guide support team. Propose improvements related to the development and support activity.
Contributing Responsibilities

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
6-8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in ETL application . To understand business requirements in the ETL context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights. To design, develop, and deploy ETL Workflows, Scripts & stored procedures and perform efficient detailed analysis. To create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations. To perform SQL querying for best results To define and design new systems by analyzing current ETL processes. Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server (Mandatory) SQL/PL-SQL Expertise: Advanced skills in SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers (Mandatory) Performance Tuning: Experience with query optimization, indexing strategies, and analyzing execution plans (Mandatory) Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve complex issues efficiently.
