What you’ll do at Ather?
Release Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop release plans including timelines & dependencies.Release Process Ownership: Define, build, and continuously improve the end-to-end release process.Continuous Improvement: Identify initiatives to optimize release efficiency, quality, and reliability, leveraging industry best practices, tools, and knowledge on a continuous basis.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues related to the release process for critical milestonesStakeholder Communication Management: Keep all stakeholders informed and in sync for planned releases periodically following a regular cadence.Quality Management: Ensure SW releases are produced with proper test and quality checks & with negative customer impacts.
Here’s what we’re looking for?
Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Release Management Best PracticesExcellent understanding & hands-on with Code merge, branching using CI/CD integrated tools.Good Hands on with software, firmware, embedded & devops ecosystem with client-server architecture dependencies.Proficiency in Release Management Tools and Version Control Systems: Skilled in utilizing tools for managing releases and systems for controlling versions of software.Excellent Project Management Skills, Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and handling multiple projects concurrentlyStrong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities, A keen eye for details coupled with robust skills in analysis and solving complex problems.Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Outstanding abilities in both written and verbal communication, and skilled in interpersonal interactionsUnderstanding with IoT protocols, architecture and request-response flow would be preferred.Hands-on with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript and IDE platforms would be an added advantage.
What do you bring to ather?
6-10 years of experience in Software Program/project/Release management preferable in embedded systems/Electric Vehicles/Mobile Industry.Interacting with People, Establishing Rapport, Understanding People, Managing Tasks.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
What should I have graduated in?
BE/B Tech degree in engineering is a requirement with a recent background in Technical program/project management that’d help understand best practices in Scrum/Agile.MBA and PMP/PGMP will be a definite plus but are not mandatory.
