The main task of the Backend Developer within the Organization is the maintenance and further development of the CMS. Backend developers work in a team with frontend developers and participate in coordination processes with project and product managers.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Planning, development and maintenance of the CMS
- Requirements analysis with regard to design, specification and implementation
- Technical conception
- Cost estimation
- Quality Assurance
- Documentation in the JIRA ticket system
- Statistical evaluations
Qualification / Education & Experience
- Training or academic degree in the relevant fields or lateral entrants with appropriate professional experience
- 3 years of experience in object-oriented PHP software development
- Excellent knowledge of PHP frameworks (example: Zend, Doctrine)
- Excellent knowledge of databases, internet standards and protocols
- Exposure and working knowledge in programming web services (SOAP, REST)
- Exposure and working knowledge in programming/execution of unit tests, especially with PHP Unit
