Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and deploy Oracle reporting solutions – BI Publisher / OTBI
- Collaborate with clients and various cross functional teams to define and determine reporting requirements and reporting strategy
- Define and implement best practices for Oracle Cloud reports
- Define version control procedures and assist in managing all Oracle Cloud reporting procedures
- Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews.
- Work closely with client resources to transfer technical knowledge and give guidance on best practices
- Ensure quality of development deliverables by applying proven testing methodologies
- Maintain well documented procedural instructions to hand-off to client
- Status reporting to project management
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of report development experience
- Minimum 2 years working on Oracle Cloud reporting solutions – BI Publisher / OTBI
- Oracle Cloud Certified a plus
- Report development experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards and E-Business Suite)
- Experience in designing and developing complex reports
- Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, and flat file documents using JavaScript and/or Java.
- Experience in working with SOAP/REST, XML, JSON etc.
- Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and end point configuration
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be proactive at solving issues and conflict resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High commitment to exceed performance expectations
- Senior enough to be able to independently handle client expectations Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
